1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of driving tuition services provided by Your Driving School, operated by a DVSA-approved driving instructor based at 83 Woodruff Way, Walsall WS5 4RA (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the instructor”). By booking a lesson or using this website, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking Lessons

Lessons may be booked by telephone, email, or via the contact form on this website. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, time, and location with you directly. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

• You must hold a valid provisional driving licence before your first lesson.
• You must be at least 17 years of age to take driving lessons.
• You are responsible for ensuring your eyesight meets the DVSA legal requirement (reading a number plate at 20 metres).
• Any medical conditions that may affect your ability to drive safely must be disclosed before lessons begin.

3. Lesson Prices

Current lesson prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change. Prices quoted at the time of booking will be honoured for lessons already paid or block-booked. We reserve the right to adjust prices with reasonable notice for future bookings.

• Manual lessons: £34.00 per hour (£320.00 block of 10 hours)
• Automatic lessons: £36.00 per hour (£340.00 block of 10 hours)
• Motorway tuition: £40.00 per hour
• Pass Plus course: £220.00 (6-hour DVSA-approved course)
• Refresher lessons: enquire for pricing

4. Payment

Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking. Block bookings are paid in advance. We accept payment by cash or bank transfer. We do not store card details.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand circumstances change. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

• 48 hours or more notice: Full refund or free reschedule.
• 24–48 hours notice: 50% of the lesson fee may be charged.
• Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: Full lesson fee will be charged.
• If we cancel a lesson due to instructor illness, vehicle fault, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a full refund or free reschedule at the earliest available time.

6. Conduct During Lessons

You are expected to behave respectfully and safely at all times during lessons. The instructor has the right to end a lesson immediately, without refund, if a pupil is abusive, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or deliberately endangers themselves or others. You must follow the instructor’s guidance at all times.

7. Dual-Control Vehicle

All lessons are conducted in a dual-control vehicle maintained to DVSA requirements. The instructor has full authority to take control of the vehicle at any time in the interests of safety. You may not bring or use your own vehicle for lessons unless specifically agreed in advance.

8. Driving Test

We will advise you honestly on your readiness to take a driving test. The decision to take a test remains yours. We cannot guarantee that you will pass your test. The DVSA driving test is conducted and assessed entirely independently of Your Driving School.

9. Liability

We carry full business insurance as required for a DVSA-approved driving instructor. Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by our proven negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings or the cost of additional lessons following a failed test.

10. Website Use

This website is provided for information purposes only. While we take care to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantee as to the accuracy or completeness of content. The website may be updated or withdrawn at any time.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
